Mukimbe par Sandy: A Sanctuary of Holistic Healing for Mothers & Their Families

At Mukimbe par Sandy, we believe in the power of holistic therapies tailored for mothers, enhancing well-being throughout pregnancy and beyond. Our founder, Sandy, brings a unique blend of expertise and passion to her practice, ensuring every mother feels nurtured, understood, and empowered.

Sandy’s Journey

Born and raised amidst the hustle and bustle of the city, Sandy always felt a deeper connection to the tranquility of the countryside. Inspired by the writings of a Faith she embraced in her youth, she believes, “The country is the world of the soul, the city is the world of bodies.

Sandy’s journey into the realm of healing—be it physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual—began at a young age of 16. A burning question about world peace led her to the concept of ‘progressive revelation’, instilling in her the belief that we are all part of one vast human family. This belief has been the cornerstone of her practice, guiding her every effort to share this profound reality, both in word and action.

While physical ailments can find relief through methods like massage, Sandy understands that our true essence is energy. Techniques like reflexology and reiki, which unblock energetic pathways, have always resonated with her. But it was her discovery of Bodytalk therapy in 2005 that truly transformed her perspective on health and well-being. The groundbreaking work of Dr. John Veltheim opened her eyes to the potential of addressing both physical and emotional challenges at even a quantum level.

Driven by a desire to make a difference, Sandy embarked on projects targeting the well-being of children and women. From initiatives to combat child malnutrition to training as a doula and midwife, her passion knows no bounds. Her recent foray into ‘elimination communication’, a method of understanding babies’ needs, further showcases her commitment to holistic care.

Sandy likens her journey to a squirrel gathering acorns—always something new to learn and share, leaving treasures of knowledge for others to discover. In the words of the revered elder Lilianne Petananquat, and with heartfelt gratitude to all the teachers she’s encountered, Sandy says thank you in many languages, striving to embrace humility, respect.
